Birkwood Farm Fisheries Birkwood Farm Fisheries is run by Dick and Sandra
Lindley. Set on the Rural Urban Fringe of Altofts near Normanton, Birkwood
Fisheries is only 3 miles from Wakefield and 6 miles from the centre of Leeds.
The complex currently has 4 lakes: Main Lake, Frog Hall, Oscar’s Lakes and
Emily’s Lakes. Total number of fishing stations is now in excess of 100. Bradford No1 Angling Association Founded in 1878 for local anglers, Bradford No 1 AA has developed many noted fisheries in the North of England. The association controls approximately 43 miles of rivers, 11 lakes totalling 57.7 acres and 4.25 miles of canal. The club has a membership of around 3,000. The majority of the fishing is provided for the pleasure angler, however specialist and specimen anglers can find excellent sport and personal bests at most waters. Many of the river stretches are notes as some of the best Chub and Barbel stretches in the county.

Leeds and District Amalgamated Society of Anglers Leeds and District ASA now boasts over 2500 members, and over 200 affiliated clubs. We are proud to offer over 30 river venues, 12 lakes, 6 lengths of canal totalling 20 miles, a lively social club which is C&IU affiliated, a busy match program over 52 weekends per year.
Wakefield Angling Club The Wakefield Angling Club caters for anyone wishing
to fish waters in and around the City of Wakefield. Our fisheries consist of
lakes, ponds, canals and a local stretch of the River Calder. Some still waters
are ideal for disabled anglers and juniors. The club is a member of the Angling
Trust, and enters teams in the National and Regional Championships, as well as
various leagues. The Willows Carp & Coarse Fishery Set in the North Yorkshire countryside, but only 4.5 miles from York city centre, The Willows Carp & Coarse Fishery is the perfect location for a peaceful and relaxing days fishing. To most people the most important thing about a fish hook is its ability to catch fish, and this is of course also the most important thing for Mustad when designing and developing a hook pattern.
