Designed specifically for short range feeder fishing for carp on commercial match waters. At 10ft long, the Mini Carp offers better casting accuracy over shorter distances than normal 11’, 12’ and 13’ feeder rods. This makes it great for casting to islands and it can handle large open and block-end feeders and medium method feeders. The non-lock through action is perfect for playing carp even into double figures and when bagging. Packs down into two equal sections for easy transporting when set up. Line rating 3lb - 8lb. It's a very special rod, designed for a very special job, and it does it perfectly. In fact we haven't seen a rod quite like it and it's a definate 'must have' for anglers who fish carp matches all year round. When Tommy Pickering suggested that a rod specifically for 'harder days' would be a good idea - we agreed. He wanted a rod that would be perfect for those days when you want to fish a single grain of corn on the bomb, or perhaps a tiny feeder, casting to islands or the far bank, or medium distances into open water looking for those elusive match winning bites. It's only 10' long which enables it to be handled easily in restricted spaces. It will handle double figure lumps as well as the normal commercial fishery samples and in Tonny's hands has already accounted for some huge match weights. It's perfect for what is was intended and a 'must have' for serious anglers.
