The ESP Paragon 12ft 3lb just steps up from the 2.75lb with a little more stiffness in the mid section to fire out that bit further. It is perfectly suited for casting leads between 2.5oz and 4oz and is perfectly suited for every carp fishing situation from short range work to casting 100m plus. The Tip Section is a perfect fish playing shock absorber designed to subdue big fish and prevent hook pulls on a short line around the net. At the same time the Carbon Blank has excellent casting properties both in terms of distance and accuracy. 4.5lb SPOD ALSO AVAILABLE Designed to be balanced and comfortable for long periods of use during the spodding process, this 12ft, 4.5lb test curve rod, can cast spods up to 6ozs enormous distances, due to it's progressive action. It can also handle heavier loads up to 10ozs at shorter range. Full SiC guides comprise a 40mm butt ring plus single leg guides on the tip section to reduce weight and improve balance.
