When most anglers go fishing for catfish they usually use a powerful spod rod that is normally 12ft which is to long when playing awesome fish. What Des Taylor and many expert cat anglers have found is that you don't need 12ft rod for bank fishing for catfish but a shorter more controllable 10ft 6" Model that fits the bill both in the UK and Europe.
