It goes without saying they suit demanding river barbel tactics, however, they are also ideal for targeting big fish on popular commercial fisheries...along with many other possibilities. The 1.75lb or 2.0lb test curve options cover lots of ground when it comes to big fish tactics, which might include free-lining, heavy-duty float fishing, straight legering, also casting out big feeders and PVA bags. The quivertip sections provide even more scope, having highly visible 1.5oz, 2oz and 3oz fibreglass indicators. Prodigy VX 12ft Barbel Rods are made from super high modulus carbon, generously kitted out with full SIC line guides, custom made carbon screw locking reel seats, quality cork handles, hook keeper rings and laser etched butt caps.
