The actions on the new Shakespeare Trion XT range of fly rods have been refined and developed to match a more accurate single line rating. The shorter versions of the Shakespeare Trion XT fly rods (up to 8 feet) are built on a 3 piece blank design, while the rest have a 4 piece design. This obviously helps with ease of transport and there is no loss in action or performance in comparison to the original two and three piece Trion versions.
